Welcome to our site.  We hope as we grow our business you will come back and check us out from time to time.  The Phoenix PR Group is first and foremost, an entertainment PR agency but for me personally, it is a new beginning.  I chose the title “The Phoenix PR Group” as the name for the agency for a multitude of reasons.   The main reason being that the Phoenix bird has represented rising and becoming anew.

I have worked as an entertainment publicist for 20 years.  I gave everything I had to the industry and to the companies that I worked for.  Though it was getting harder to work 60-70 hours a week in my 40s than it was in my 20s, I still enjoyed the fact that in a small way I was helping to bring entertainment and enjoyment to so many people.

Two years ago, the company I worked for decided to close our Kansas City office and outsource the work to another market.  For the most part I understood, “it was just business”.  What I really felt bad about was knowing that the wonderful people, companies and organizations that I had worked with over the years would not receive the same high quality service and attention we had provided them.  My other concern was that by outsourcing, the company would really not understand the wonderful opportunities in Kansas City that would help them promote their client’s products.

My hope with The Phoenix PR Group is to bring that high quality service and attention to detail back to the clients I have represented in the past and to help new businesses and organizations connect with new customers locally.

In a way, I feel like I am a Phoenix bird rising through the ashes and becoming anew.
